This meeting is organised by an EYO member (Centro Studi e Documentazione sulla Condizione Giovanile del Comune di Modena), who was committed this year to organise a good practises seminar.

IMMIGRANT PROJECTS AND POLICIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN EUROPEAN CITIES: THE SEMINAR REPORT
The first EYO seminar was held in Cologne in November 2008, entitled Immigrant Projects and Policies for Young People in European Cities. The seminar was open to other interested persons who were not in the network, and also had the presence of leading experts in the topics under discussion.
Now the EYO network wants to share the seminar contents with any person which is working with young people or which is interested in this subject.
There are 96 million young people aged 15-29 in the European Union, constituting almost 20 % of the total population.
This Youth Report is a compilation of data, statistics and brief analyses on the situation of young people in Europe. It provides an overview of the situation in the EU Member States in a range of different areas and outlines the differences between countries.
YOUTH IN ACTION - THE NEW EU PROGRAMME IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH
Youth in Action is the new EU Programme in the field of youth, which will be implemented from 1 January 2007 until 31 December 2013 with a total budget of 885 million euros. It is the successor of the YOUTH Programme (2000-2006).
The Youth in Action Programme makes an important contribution to the acquisition of competences and is therefore a key instrument in providing young people with opportunities for non-formal and informal learning with a European dimension.
